Code Enforcement Officer/Local Plumbing Inspector

Michael Falvey is the town's code enforcement officer and local plumbing inspector.  He is dedicated to providing outstanding public service responsive to the needs of our citizens, our community, and our environment.  The objective of the CEO/LPI is to attain compliance with the town's ordinances regarding land use regulations and the maintenance of structures to achieve a safe and heathly environment.  

 

The code enforcement officer issues Building Permits for new buildings, additions, and detached buildings, and Land Use Permits.  Land Use Permits can be issued by the CEO or may be required to be approved by the Planning Board and issued on the terms of the conditions of the permit.

 

As the LPI, Mike issues Plumbing Permits for interior plumbing and subsurface wastewater disposal systems.

 

For information on building or plumbing requirements or  Land Use Permits, feel free to contact Mike at 942-2905 or stop by the town office between 7:30 AM and 7 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays or 7:30 AM to 5 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.
