Welcome to Glenburn Parks & Recreation Department, page updated 1-2-2024

We are a small board, whom are all volunteers with the exception of the director.  We do our best in providing fun, safe recreational opportunities for both young & old, and all the while, keeping our parks beautiful & enjoyable for all. 

We try to meet the last Sunday of every month - with exceptions around holidays. 

Currently the committee is in need of some new members.  If you are positive, energetic, and would like to be involved in the planning & the future of Glenburn Parks & Rec please email recdirector@glenburn.net for an application.

Summer Day Camp Registration
 
**SUMMER DAY CAMP 2024**

REGISTRATION opens April 2 subject to availability

Register at the town office ONLY just too much information needed to do this one online.

Be prepared to have medical & emergency info, approved pick-up/drop off people, read and sign the camp agreement, child shirt sizes & more.  You can download the form from the link below, fill it out ahead of time, then either drop it off or mail it in with your deposit to

Maximum of 30 children per day

WHO: Children entering Kindergarten Sept 2024 - age 12

Day Camp Dates; June 17 -Aug 9, 2024 an 8-week program

Day Camp hours; 7:30am – 5:30pm SHARP!

Location; Glenburn Lakeside Riders Clubhouse Corner of Ohio ST & Phillips Rd in Glenburn

REC TRACK PROGRAM

 Spring-Summer Track program for Children in Kindergarten-5th Grade

Registration opens April 2 and closes April 17, 2024

You may register at the town office or online - link will be posted later

Fee is $30

Introductory Program to develop skills needed for track & field, with sprints, relays, softball throw & jumps

Program starts May 6 @ 6pm at the Rec fields, between all the baseball fields

Group will practice Tues & Thursdays from 6-7pm

Track ends June 13

LOOKING for volunteer coaches; please fill out a volunteer app if you are interested in working with this program

Rec Board - VACANCY

The Glenburn Rec Advisory Board, has 2 alternate member spots open as of August 4, 2023.  We are looking for people who are positive, energetic, and can work as a team, to join us.  The board meets the last Sunday of every month to discuss the various activities, parks & operations of the Parks & Rec Department and help out at different recreational functions.,  If you think you might be interested please complete the form by clicking the link below, then drop off at the town office or email Mrs. Carey Besse, our Director , at recdirector@glenburn.net
